Vibrogym + Infared Sauna session

Last night my friend Gracie invited me to go to a ‘vibrogym’ with her. I’ve heard of something similar before & was expecting to just stand there on a plate, while it vibrated my whole body- more importantly, my lower body.

We were booked in for a half hour session. The instructor asked me to start doing lunges, squats, leg lifts, press up and sit ups. I was NOT expecting that! It makes every exercise so much harder!

After that, I lay on the platform and it massaged my legs & butt for 10 minutes. You rotate your body to massage your left & right side and then front & back.

I read the benefits of this vibrogym is that it increases circulation-perfect after a day sitting in the office! It is also a great body toner- just what I wanted.

After that workout, also included in the $15 session was a 35 min infared sauna session. I’ve heard of these saunas before but other places charge $40 for 30 mins & I was never interested in spending so much.

The Journal of the American Medical Association stated: “A moderately conditioned person can easily sweat off 500 grams in a sauna, consuming nearly 300 kcal, which is equivalent to running 2–3 miles”.

You can bet I will be going again!
