I paid a lady to cut a bald spot into my head.

Okay, I’ll stop being so dramatic.

I’ve been seeing a naturopath for the past 6 months for various health reasons and I’ve noticed some great improvements. The first thing I went in for was my diet. I was constantly bloating from all sorts of food but couldn’t work out what it was. He suggested I cut out wheat & I haven’t looked back.

Next up, was my skin. All my life I’ve had little red spots on my arms and legs and over the years, I’ve seen a number of dermatologists who either prescribed me creams or said they couldn’t fix it….they should really quit their jobs if they don’t want to try and help their patients ugh!

Anywaaaaaay, a few weeks ago, I came across this article about hair tissue analysis and found Interclinical, an Australian based company that specialises in it. If there’s one thing you should do today, is read more about hair tissue analysis HERE.

So after all these years, I may finally have the answer to what’s going on inside my body. I won’t know the results for another 2 weeks but I will definitely post about it here!

  1. Oh Anya how interesting! I would love to hear how you go wtih this. I have heard about this and am so interested in doing it but hadn’t found anywhere that did it. I think my hormones are way out and I have terrible iron (& battled adult acne last year) so it would be so great to see what it is my body is missing (I need a good natropath too!) x

    • You should try blending spinach and orange juice every morning, it helps with iron! You actually cannot taste the spinach at all! And this is coming from someone who hates eating spinach haha. You can read more about it here: http://www.livestrong.com/article/248698-what-are-the-benefits-of-spinach-in-smoothies/

And regarding naturopaths, I saw a great guy called Gordon Carruthers in South Perth, here’s the website for the clinic: http://www.spnc.com.au/naturopathy.asp

There’s also another great place…it’s in Marmion but it’s 1/3 the price of the South Perth clinic and the advice is just as good. Their website can be found here: www. wcnaturaltherapies.com.au

Then once you’ve had a few sessions, you can go to the clinic at Fremantle Markets and just get herbs without paying the consultation fee 🙂

Cannot stress enough how much I love naturopaths & how much they have helped me over the past 6 months!

      • Oh Anya you angel – thank you sooo much!! And yes I so badly need to see one so I was obviously meant to be following you and find your blog 🙂 Thanks again Im going to look in to all this tomorrow 🙂

  2. Ohhh!! I really want to know what you find out about the red spots on your skin! I have also always had those red spots all over the back of my upper arms and on my legs/thighs… I don’t know what it is and I’ve tried EVERYTHING to remove them (scrubbing/exfoliating, creams etc.) It drives me nuts, so I really want to know what to do to make them go away.
